About this class
In a pottery course at the turntable in Berlin, you will learn the basics of pottery in 2.5 hours. After an introduction to materials and technology, you will prepare clay, center and shape your first own works. Two pieces are professionally reworked, fired and glazed. After 3-5 weeks, you can pick up your finished, fully usable works of art. The course is ideal for beginners and offers a creative break in a personal atmosphere.
What you’ll do in the class
- Brief introduction to sound and turntable
- Prepare and center the sound
- Basic techniques for processing and shaping
- Stand-alone turning with unlimited amount of sound
- Selection of 2-3 works, which are then reworked, fired and glazed by the team
- Collection of finished works after 3-5 weeks
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is aimed at adults who want to try out pottery at the turntable. Beginners with no previous knowledge are also welcome. By appointment, participation is possible from the age of 16. Ideal for anyone who wants to work creatively and make their own pottery
