Includes colored engobe and glaze firing for a fully finished, sturdy ceramic piece that is waterproof and food safe.
Here, the ceramic is fired for you at 1250 degrees. This firing process takes a total of 2-3 days and we have to glaze your ceramic works again with transparent glaze for you.
glaze burn
After the first firing, which is referred to as scrub firing or rough firing, ceramic usually gets a glaze burn. The glassy coating is not only decorative — it also has a functional character.
Once the scrubbing is complete, we still have a porous rough piece in its natural state in front of us. Ceramic only becomes waterproof when glazed. A basic requirement for being able to use pottery as ceramic tableware or ceramic vase.

Includes firing your ceramic pieces, called scrub burn

Scrubbing brandy or also known as biscuit brandy:
In this first fire, residual moisture, crystal-bound water and organic components are dissolved from the dried molding and burned. As a result, the blank solidifies and turns into a more stable state.
