About this class
Dive into the world of ceramics and enjoy a creative flow in our light-filled studio on the studio floor on the 4th floor. In this inspiring environment, surrounded by art and natural daylight, you create your own ceramic objects using construction technology. Working with sound has a grounding effect and gives you a real break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Under professional guidance from an experienced artist, you will learn techniques such as thumb, bead and, if desired, relief techniques.
The special thing: We have no limit to the number of pieces you can make. When your creativity grabs you, you just keep making pottery.
Whether it's espresso cups, bowls, candle holders or pearls — let your imagination run wild.
Use our clay stamps for texts or engraving tools to give your ceramics a very personal touch.
For the perfect finish, you can choose from a large selection of high-quality engobe and stoneware glazes, which you can apply to your work immediately after pottery.

What you’ll do in the class
- After being greeted in front of the entrance, we take the lift together to the studio floor on the 4th floor.
- Since you can only enter the building with a transponder, we ask you to arrive punctually.
- After a short introduction, we dive into the various construction techniques — thumb technique and bead technique. We test the techniques and produce ceramic pieces.
- If you are planning individual projects, such as pearls or candle holders, we will show you examples and guide you. Here, you work completely freely and realize your ideas at your own pace — we support you exactly where you need us.
We offer you maximum flexibility for your finished unique pieces. You can decide directly in the studio how to proceed with your works:
- Take your pieces straight home in their raw state.
- Or opt for our professional engobe paints and glazes in the studio: The scrub fire (bisquet firing) strengthens your works, and the subsequent glaze firing ensures that your works not only shine beautifully, but also become waterproof and food safe.
Your burnt treasures are ready after approx. 3-5 weeks. You can pick them up from us or we can optionally ship them directly to your home.
After the first email with a collection date, please pick up your works no later than 2 weeks later. For reasons of space, we are unable to store the works permanently.
From time to time, our studio dog is there — a very lovely golden retriever lady.
