About this class
In the compact pottery workshop in Berlin, you will learn the basics of making hands with clay. You try out the thumb printing, beading and plate techniques and create 3-5 of your own works. After the course, your pieces will be professionally fired and glazed so that you can use them in everyday life. Perfect for anyone who wants to get creative and design their own pottery The glaze service is included and makes the experience particularly practical.
We look forward to seeing you in the bright ceramic studio in Aufbau Haus right on Moritzplatz in Kreuzberg.
Details to remember
What to bring to the class
- Comfortable clothing that can be temporarily dirty (everything can be washed out)
- The shorter the nails, the easier it is to make pottery. But we also know all the tricks to work well with long nails.

- Guidance from experienced instructors
- Production of 3-5 of our own ceramic works
- Scrub firing and glaze service (6 different glazes to choose from)
- Second fire for everyday use

Teamevents and groups
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to the world of sound
- Presentation of the three basic techniques: thumb printing, beading and plate techniques
- Collaborative work: You produce approx. 3-5 works using your favorite technique
- decoration with letter stamps and patterns
- Individual support from experienced instructors
- After the workshop: Scrubbing your works (first firing without glaze)
- Glaze service: Your works will be glazed in color as required and fired a second time

The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to dive intensively into the world of sound on one date in order to gain initial experience with sound. Whether you're a beginner or curious — this is the right place for you if you want to get creative and create your own pottery.
Also ideal for anyone who would rather come to an intensive appointment as a couple (or several) instead of a multi-part course and let us glaze the results.
