In the intensive ceramic pottery course in Berlin, you will learn the most important hand building techniques such as thumb printing, beading and plate techniques. There are various shapes, tools and stamps available.
The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students who want to implement their creative ideas with sound. What to bring to the class
- Comfortable clothes that can get dirty
- The shorter the nails are, the easier it is to make pottery. But we know many tricks to be able to work well even with long nails.

- Welcome and introduction to the material sound
- Presentation of hand building techniques: thumb printing, beading and plate techniques
- First appointment: thumb printing and beading technology, second appointment: plate technology, third appointment: continue working on your own projects using your favorite technique, last date: glaze
- Individual project planning and implementation of your own ideas
- Advanced support for more complex techniques and surface design
- Try out different glazing techniques
- Calculation of glaze firing costs (by weight)
