About this class
In this DIY workshop in Hamburg, you will learn step by step to make an individual decorative object for your home from the trendy material Jesmonite. 2.5 hours of wonderful we-time await you, during which you make colorful terrazzo chips, pour your desired shape in your favorite color and give the perfect cut by hand. On request, we will show you the Marbeling or Colour Blocking technique and also have super cool fabric inlays for you. So there is something for everyone. You don't need any previous knowledge for this. Our motto is: Just do it.
What you’ll do in the class
You will learn about the terrazzo technique with the trendy Jesmonite material. Step by step, we'll show you how to mix and make terrazzo chips in two favorite colors. In addition, we bring many more chips that you can exchange with the group for even more colorful combinations. Then pour your desired mold, e.g. a bowl, a saucer, a small plate or a smiley face. While the objects harden, there is time for questions, exchanges or a short break with snacks and drinks. You then give your design the perfect finishing touch with lots of handwork. You take your work straight home: unique and handmade, according to your individual taste.
