Tamales, tacos and churros — Mexico is full of street stalls and food trucks selling street food. Take a trip with us to the colorful streets of Mexico and try various Mexican street food classics.
What is the process?
The 4-hour Mexican cooking class in Berlin will give you an introduction to the world of Mexican cuisine. Together, you will prepare various Mexican dishes.
- First, you'll get an introduction to the world of Mexican street food cuisine
- You can then start cooking yourself
- We start our Mexico adventure with a buttermilk chicken. What should not be missing, of course: traditional Mexican guacamole.
- It continues with tamales verdes, filled leaf bags, with homemade moles. Together we fill corn tortillas with various vegetables, dips or pork belly with pico de gallo, a fresh seasoning sauce made from chopped tomatoes, onions and chili peppers.
- For dessert, we discover the sweet side of Mexican cuisine with homemade churros: spiced pastry made from fried choux pastry. Experience the diversity of Mexican cuisine with us!
- Finally, you will taste your creations together.

Michael Hoffmann completed his cooking apprenticeship at the 5-star hotel Bayerischer Hof. He also studied nutritional science and completed continuing education as a nutrition coach. Since 2016, he has been cooking regularly in his own cooking school and sharing his knowledge.
