About this class
In the 4-week pottery course at the turntable in Berlin, you will learn the basics of pottery step by step. You prepare clay, center it and create your own works. In the last appointment, you will glaze your pieces using various techniques.
The course is limited to a maximum of 4 people, so you will receive individual support.
All materials, tools, glazes and two fires are included. Perfect for beginners who want to get creative.
What you’ll do in the class
- 1st & 2nd appointment: Introduction to clay and turntable, sound preparation, centering, basic processing and shaping
- 3rd date: Turn off the works, attach handles and decoration as required
- 4th appointment: glazing with powder and coated glazes, get to know different glazing techniques
- Each appointment lasts 2.5 hours
- Individual support in small groups (max. 4 people)
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is aimed at adults who want to learn the basics of making pottery on the turntable. Beginners with no previous knowledge are also welcome. By appointment, participation is possible from the age of 16. Ideal for anyone who wants to work creatively and create their own pottery.
