Hi!
I am Sandra, founder of Sama Manufaktur — a small, creative lampshade manufacturer from Düsseldorf.

My passion for fabrics, colors and unusual designs has led me to create my very own style: double-sided lampshades in which both the outside and the inside are decorated with fabric. This idea still inspires me today and has become my mission: to show people how much joy it is to create something beautiful with their own hands.
My workshops take place on the premises of “Wohnraum” in Meerbusch — a cozy, inspiring place where you immediately feel at home. The rooms can accommodate up to 8 participants. Drinks such as water and juices as well as soft background music ensure that everyone can develop in a relaxed atmosphere.
In my courses, you will learn how to make your own double-covered lampshade (20 to 40 cm diameter) or even build a complete table lamp. The lamp base of the table lamp also consists of a small lampshade — an absolute eye-catcher. All materials are included in the price, and you can also bring your own fabrics. No previous technical knowledge is required — a bit of manual skill is helpful, but I follow all steps in a relaxed and understandable way.
My workshops are ideal for private groups or team events. The creative work, the surprising design moments and the joint result create a special, unifying atmosphere. At the end, each group not only takes away a finished piece of design, but also a shared experience that will be remembered for a long time — and that makes my workshops for teams and private parties so unique.
