At the cast ceramic workshop in Shades Café Bar Atelier, you design your very own trays — with high-quality materials and inspiring samples. The workshop takes place in a relaxed atmosphere in the studio of the popular Shades Café Bar. You don't need any previous knowledge — just a desire for creativity, design and a bit of fun! On site, you can order drinks and food and share a great experience with girlfriends, colleagues or other creative minds. (Please do not bring food and drinks.)

What you’ll do in the class
You will be welcomed by lovely Ria, who is leading the workshop.
After a short round of introductions, it's time to start.
You choose 2 tablet shapes and think about how and in which colors you would like to design them.
You weigh everything carefully, get everything ready and pour your two molds.
While you wait, enjoy drinks & food from Shades Café Bar Atelier in good company *
It takes about 20 minutes to dry.
Then unpack your trays and start grinding them until you like the result.
Depending on how dry your trays are at the end, they will still be sealed or you will get the seal home with you.
And last but not least...
Are you happy to take home your homemade terrazzo trays.
