About this class
Various types of fruit and vegetables (oranges, tangerines, pears, apples, lemons, plums, tomatoes, lettuce, cauliflower, leeks), fish, pasta and bread for the doll kitchen and shop are made from craft felt. The course takes place in a cozy, appealing atmosphere with a competent instructor.
The workpieces produced in the course are also ideal for filling an advent calendar.
What you’ll do in the class
After the welcome, we will explain the processes to you. You work with templates that you can use. Cut out the felt and sew it together by hand or with a machine (depending on the type of workpiece).
Fill the resulting “casings” with rice grains and cotton filling.
The aim is for you to produce one piece per type.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for anyone who wants to make children happy. During the (pre) Christmas season, the shops and doll kitchens are set up. It makes sense to produce as many “foods” as possible yourself. They are more appealing to the touch than purchased plastic products and last for many years.
As previous knowledge, you should have had a hand sewing needle in your hand, nothing more is required.
