About this class
On May 11 from 12:00 to 14:00 Lena Rot invites you to a very special workshop: Start with a lovely breakfast 🥐☕ and then design your personal ceramic breakfast set — cup, bowl or plate, just as you like!
The special thing? With lots of stamps and structures, beautiful, individual decorative pieces are created that everyone can do — even without previous knowledge!
After firing & glazing with blue pigment (if desired), your works are dishwasher-safe and ready for the breakfast table.
Look forward to a creative break in a small, cozy atmosphere — with tea, snacks &, if you wish, a glass of prosecco 🥂.
What you’ll do in the class
This is how the course works:
When the participants arrive at Lena Rot's studio, a cozy atmosphere awaits with tea, small snacks and, if desired, a glass of prosecco.
- Introduction & planning:
Lena presents the various options and discusses individually with everyone what should be designed — whether a cup, bowl or breakfast plate. - Technology & inspiration:
Using plate technology, Lena shows how the pieces are constructed. Particular attention is paid to working with stamps and structures, which create unique and decorative surfaces. The technical details for a ready-to-use end product are also explained. - Design phase:
Now it's time to work creatively! The participants shape, decorate and design their pieces — as they please, with individual support from Lena. - Relaxed atmosphere:
During the entire workshop, participants can move freely, help themselves and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. - After the course:
The finished works remain in the studio. Lena does the firing and glazing with a blue pigment.
About four weeks later, the pieces are ready to use, dishwasher-safe — and ready for the breakfast table.
