Roomlight Studio book classes

Roomlight Studio is a project by Christina Eulgem. After more than 20 years of PR agency, the time was ripe for a new start. She developed her private preference for light and lamps and vintage furniture into a business idea at the beginning of 2024. Upcycling vintage lamp feet and vintage vases so that the mid-century design of the 60s and early 70s fits into current home trends.
Roomlight Studio's special lamp bases include unusual lampshades. Unfortunately, the standard selection in Germany tends far too often towards monochrome or small-patterned fabric covers. Or the shades are made of opaque decorative fabrics or with gold-coated lamp foil so that no light can get through the umbrella cover. In short: We barely find suitable umbrellas. That is why we have set up a small lampshade production plant ourselves. Along the way, we spent months experimenting with different materials and optimising our manufacturing methods. We would like to share this knowledge. Our course participants always enjoy making a lampshade themselves, because an amazing result is visible after just a short time.
