Get to know kunstpeters

Hi, hello! I am Kamila Peters, your companion for pottery, drawing and painting courses. My passion for art began in my childhood, then I completed an apprenticeship as a ceramic painter and finally became an art teacher (MA). Now I am happy to share my knowledge with you. My offers are very varied. The creative work of art is meant to relax. The focus is not on the finished product, but on acting in a playful, adventurous and exciting way. I offer courses for children as well as for adults, for families, for beginners and also for advanced students.

I offer my courses in two locations. Both are not that far from each other and only a stone's throw away from Sylt and St. Peter-Ording:
- in Friedrichstadt, also known as “Little Amsterdam”. You can discover the gabled houses from the canal by canal boat. On site, you can visit an idyllic natural outdoor pool free of charge. The studio is located in the carpentry museum, in the center of Friedrichstadt, surrounded by small shops, cafés, etc.

In Schwabstedt, our plants are burned and the studio is even better equipped than in Friedrichstadt.

I'll tell you the most important tricks for making pottery by hand. I provide valuable tips from my pottery practice to help you design an object according to your imagination. Shaping clay with hands is one of the oldest and most original techniques of all.

Learn perspective, still life, urban sketching, understanding of light and shadow, portrait drawing, anatomy, etc... Does it sound boring? All of this can also be exciting, but where has the fun gone? How can I use everything I've already learned to get ahead with the skills I've acquired? Or are you not in the mood for “basics” and yet have a lot of courage to realize yourself artistically? I'll always find a way with you! Where “the journey goes” is up to you.
