I am Stephan Ehlers — juggling trainer, speaker, presenter and “juggler”. For many years I have been working on the question of how people learn more easily, become bolder and take on new challenges with more joy. For me, juggling is much more than just a nice exercise of skill. It is an amazingly effective tool for the brain, body, and motivation.

My mission is to show people that learning can be easy. Change should be fun. And experiences of success can sometimes start with just three balls. Whether in a juggling course, a team event, a training course or a presentation — I combine movement, humor, brain knowledge and immediate experiences of success. The participants not only experience that they can learn something new, but also how concentration, coordination, self-confidence and mental agility can be activated in a playful way.

As an expert in brain knowledge and juggling, I combine current findings from neuroscience, learning, motivation and leadership with practical exercises. My juggling learning systems and methods have been widely used in courses, workshops, companies, schools, therapy and health contexts. What is particularly important to me is that no one has to be sporty, brave or “talented.” Juggling is suitable for beginners, skeptics, teams, children, adults, seniors, managers and health professionals alike.

My approach is simple: first experience, then understand, then transfer. The participants first feel for themselves how fast progress is possible. I then show what happens in the brain — and how this experience can be transferred to everyday life, work, learning, health or cooperation.

How did I discover my passion?

My passion for juggling came from a fascination with an apparent contradiction: Something that looks complicated at first glance can suddenly become easy with the right method. It was precisely this moment — when “I can't do that” becomes a surprised look, a laugh and finally a sense of achievement — that grabbed me.

I was never only interested in juggling as a piece of art. I was particularly interested in: What happens in people when learning succeeds? Why do some people stick to it even though everything falls down at the beginning? Why is a small step forward suddenly encouraging? And why can a simple exercise with balls tell so much about concentration, patience, error culture, motivation and change?

That curiosity turned into my work. I developed learning systems, courses, workshops and events where juggling is not an end in itself, but a lively training field: for brain, body, cooperation and personal development.

Location: What does my location look like and what is it equipped with?

My courses and smaller events take place in Munich-Nymphenburg at the FQL Academy — a quiet, personal and inspiring environment in the middle of the city. The location is located in a quiet cul-de-sac near Nymphenburg Castle and, according to the website, is about 15 minutes from Munich Central Station by tram line 17.

A conference room of approx. 35 m², a coaching room of approx. 20 m² and a terrace with garden of approx. 100 m², which can also be used as a “green study”, are available. This makes the location suitable both for compact workshops and for relaxed formats with movement, exchange and small group exercises outdoors.

The conference room is equipped with WiFi, flip chart, bulletin board, presentation kit, screen and projector. For coaching or smaller meetings, a flip chart, bulletin board, presentation material and an iPad with wireless screen transfer to a large flat screen are also available — as required.

The combination of professional equipment and a personal atmosphere is particularly pleasant: not an anonymous conference day, but a place where learning, trying out and exchanging ideas are easy.

How many people can I accommodate in my location?

For workshops in the conference room, the location is designed for a maximum of 14 participants. The coaching room is ideal for 2 to 3 people, a maximum of 5 participants. Formats with up to 20 participants are possible outdoors or during outdoor days.

For juggling courses, this group size is a big advantage: Each person has enough space to practice, ask questions and try things out. At the same time, the atmosphere remains personal, manageable and motivating.

Courses and events: What makes my courses special?

My juggling classes are special because they don't work according to the motto “just try it out.” I work with clear, proven learning steps that help even absolute beginners to quickly experience initial successes. No one is presented, no one has to embarrass themselves, no one needs previous knowledge.

The special feature is the combination of:

1. Simple method
The exercises are structured in such a way that participants learn how to juggle step by step. Beginners in particular quickly realize that it is not the talent, but the right learning structure.

2. Hands-on brain knowledge
Juggling activates
coordination, concentration, perception and movement at the same time. In my courses, I clearly explain why juggling works in the brain and what significance it can have for learning, motivation, memory and mental fitness. On my pages, too, juggling is expressly linked to health, learning, continuing education, business, leadership and motivation.

3. Immediate sense of success
Hardly
any exercise demonstrates so directly that learning is possible. The ball falls down — so what? This is exactly where progress comes from. This principle is extremely valuable for children, adults, teams, therapeutic settings and companies.

4. Humor and ease of
juggling opens people up. It brings movement into the room, laughter into the group and suddenly makes abstract topics such as change, error culture or concentration concrete.

5. Transfer to everyday life, work or therapy
Depending on the target group, it is not just about juggling itself, but about the question: What do we learn from this in terms of communication, leadership, motivation, patience, learning, health or cooperation?

Team events and private events: Why are my events unique for groups?

My juggling events are unique because they not only entertain people but also activate them. The participants do not sit passively in the room and listen to motivational sentences. They experience for themselves how change works: try it out, fail, laugh, correct, move on — and suddenly something works out that seemed impossible before.

This is particularly strong for teams. Juggling makes visible what often remains abstract in groups: How do we deal with mistakes? How do we support each other? How do we stay tuned if something doesn't work right away? How does courage arise? How does uncertainty become a shared sense of success?

On the juggler page, the benefits for organizations are described precisely in this connection: emotional activation, physically anchored learning and clear transfer into everyday working life. Juggling events should promote motivation, confidence and transfer — even among skeptical managers.

It works just as well for private events: Birthdays, family gatherings, groups of friends or special occasions get a shared experience that people talk about for a long time to come. Everyone can take part, no one needs previous experience, and the mix of movement, wonder, humor and success makes the event unusually lively.

In short: My events get people moving — physically, mentally and emotionally. They create successful moments together, connect generations and turn three balls into an experience that sticks in your head.
