Get to know F.I.N.K. e.V.
F.I.N.K. e.V. stands for friendship, interest, nature and culture — and that is exactly what we live every day in our community garden in Cologne-Vogelsang. Since our founding in 2016, we have been working together to create a place where people can come together, learn from each other and actively shape their environment. Our mission is to make the city greener, more sustainable and more social. We believe that real change starts on a small scale: when gardening together, when people from different backgrounds share ideas and when using nature and resources consciously. The passion for our project was born from a simple idea: to transform a fallow area into a lively place. Step by step, a forgotten piece of asphalt became an intercultural community garden — a place of encounter where people can grow together, in the truest sense of the word. Today, we see ourselves as a “third place” in addition to home and work — a space for community, creativity and shaping the future.
Location:
Our location is a community garden of around 3,000 square meters close to nature in the middle of Cologne-Vogelsang.
Here you will find everything that makes for a lively open space:
raised beds, vegetable and herb areas, building and work areas, a fireplace, retreats and space for events and meetings. The garden continues to grow — designed by everyone who uses it.
The open structure makes it possible to welcome both small groups and larger communities. Depending on the occasion, the site offers space for numerous visitors — from relaxed garden afternoons to larger events and festivals.

Here, people not only learn, but experience. Whether sowing, harvesting or building together — knowledge is created through joint action.
In addition, we offer workshops, educational offers for children, families and schools, as well as events on sustainability and social issues.
