We visited a handbuilding & glazing workshop with Tamara and are happy to have found her. First, there was a warm welcome and then some information about the materials and techniques. Shortly after, we were able to get started. There was an incredibly nice and relaxed atmosphere. Tamara is very welcoming and does her job with a lot of love - you can feel that immediately. The beautiful studio completes the whole thing: good music, snacks and tea, beautiful interior but above all beautiful works of art wherever you look. You don't even want to go anymore or take a lot of things home with you:) I think you can't avoid the wheel throwing workshop after a handbuilding workshop:)

A really great workshop that I can recommend with a clear conscience! The workshop was a gift to my mother, who was very impressed and delighted with the great gift. Tamara knows her craft and has passed on the content to us with a lot of fun and patience. Thanks again Tamara and best regards. Niki and Ekaterini

Get to know a pinch of salt

A pinch of salt is a constantly evolving project by designer, chef and ceramicist Tamara Pešić, dedicated to ceramics and food — from the objects, tools and vessels we use to prepare, store, serve and enjoy food, to rituals of sharing and being together.

Tamara designs and produces simple and functional ceramics in small series, a collection of subtle and sometimes playful variations of everyday objects. Each piece is made with care and natural materials and is meant to last a long time. She researches the qualities of clay by experimenting with various techniques, from turning on the turntable to handwork to slip casting. Since all products are made by hand, there may be irregularities on the surface, which give each piece its own character and beauty. The contrast between the textures of raw, unpolished and shiny, glazed surfaces is emphasized, allowing the properties of the material to shine through.
