About this class
Dive into the colorful world of ceramics at a pinch of salt in Offenbach! In this 2-hour glazing workshop, you will paint selected pieces of stoneware according to your ideas. You decide for…
What you’ll do in the class
- You will be warmly welcomed in the studio and given a brief introduction to the workshop process.
- You will then learn everything about the materials: What glazes are there, how they change during firing and how you can use them specifically.
- You choose a prefabricated piece of ceramic — you can choose from cups, plates, small teapots and even classic furniture
- Then it's time to practice: You'll get an introduction to various glazing techniques, such as painting with brushes or creative work with adhesive tape for graphic patterns.
- You design your ceramic pieces at your own pace. The team is here to help you with tips, tricks and creative ideas.
- After the workshop, your work will be professionally glazed and fired in the studio — around two to three weeks later, you can pick up your finished piece (during our pick-up times, for example on Saturdays from 1 pm to 4 pm).
