Fantastic wines from the foot of the Andes
Impressive natural spectacles, breathtaking panoramic views, elegant and powerful wines characterize both countries. As early as the 16th century, Jesuits brought the first vines to the “New World”, but a lot has happened since then. Chile, the narrow, elongated vineyard, shines with expressive fruity drops, characterized by the cool Pacific. The slightly warmer Argentina delights with full-bodied, color-intensive wines with an unmistakable character.
Accompanied by lots of visual material, we travel from the land of writer Pablo Neruda to the land of tango and experience the wine cultural diversity of both Andean countries.

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcoming the participants from 6:45pm by the wine speaker
- A hearty snack before and during the seminar
- Beamer presentation with emotional images about the various wine regions of both countries
- Tasting of 12 Argentinean and Chilean quality wines (6 white, 6 red) as blind tasting, i.e. without label and price information
- Tasting using the basics of wine sensory technology and structured tasting techniques
- Information about growing regions, grape varieties and special features of the wines
- Lots of useful tips on food pairing, service and wine storage
- Answering questions about wine
