About this class
In this workshop, you will get an introduction to the collage technique and I'll show you how to turn “boring” paper into interesting collage paper.
And then we dive into the wonderful world of “games and imagination”:
We create, edit and simply enjoy experimenting, so that surreal, abstract or redefined worlds of images can be created. Our main medium is paper in all its facets: newspapers, magazines, tissue paper, wrapping paper, music paper, etc. There are also other media that we can use and combine with each other as needed: fabrics, paints, pens, etc. No previous knowledge is required.
What you’ll do in the class
- Introduction & material science
- Basic techniques — use adhesive, paper and other media creatively
- Create exciting effects: convert boring paper into interesting collage paper
- Free experimentation — develop individual work of art
- Conclusion & exchange — presentation of works & inspiration by the group
