Hi, hello from North Frisia! In this ceramic workshop in Friedrichstadt, you create unique pieces with your hands — completely without a potter's wheel!
I am Kamila Peters, your companion for pottery, drawing and painting courses. My passion for art began in my childhood. I completed an apprenticeship as a ceramic painter and finally became an art teacher (MA). Now I'm happy to share my knowledge with you.
Valuable tips from my pottery practice will help you to design an object according to your ideas. Shaping clay with hands is one of the oldest and most original techniques of all.
The workshop for beginners takes place in the center of Friedrichstadt in the old carpentry workshop or in Lehmhuus Schwabstedt. For some it is like therapy, for others it is a way to briefly forget everyday life. Children and their parents are also very welcome.
What you’ll do in the class
Let your imagination run wild and create your masterpiece! Your ideas will definitely be awakened in our charming studio. Thanks to our selection of colors, tools, stencils, etc., we will work together to find a way to implement your idea. Course content: thumb printing, plate and beading techniques, decorative surface treatment.
A small, healthy buffet is prepared for between meals.
