About this class
Discover the world of terrazzo design in Cologne! In this creative workshop, you will water your own colorful unique terrazzo items — such as coasters, bowls or candle holders. You choose colors, design individual chips and set personal accents. The course is ideal for anyone who loves modern design and creative techniques. No previous knowledge required — you will be guided step by step and can take home your finished work at the end.
What you’ll do in the class
In this workshop, you will get to know (and love) the trend material JESMONITE.
You can pour 2-3 different shapes of your choice, such as soap dispensers, decorative bowls, candle holders and coasters, and take them home immediately afterwards.
You will learn the various design techniques, such as color gradient and marbling, but the focus in this workshop is on the TERRAZZO pattern, which is why we need a bit more time than in the basic course.
At the end, the unique products are sanded and sealed with a special wax.
