Class description
In this knitting course, beginners learn the basics and start a desired project in the course (e.g. a headband or a scrunchie). While the knitters with experience are already allowed to start a small, more demanding project. We will pick you up exactly where you are with your knowledge right now.
In this course, you'll learn:
- Read knitting instructions
- Hit stitches
- right & left stitches
- Knitters with experience (small braid pattern, etc.)
- Edge stitches
- Chain off meshes
The workshop takes place here:
My small studio is located right on Friedenplätzchen near Lorettostraße in Düsseldorf Unterbilk. A really beautiful, urban area, which is also very worthwhile for browsing and shopping in the numerous owner-managed shops & boutiques. You can reach me in the backyard of Friedenstraße 36 - the house with the blue front door.
How to get there by train:
There are two stops in the immediate vicinity of the studio. This includes the Kronprinzenstraße stop, 300 meters away (here line 707 goes to Düsseldorf Central Station in just a few minutes) and the Bilker Kirche stop, 400 meters away (the 709 goes to Neuss, the main station, etc.)
How to get there by car:
Enter the above address into the navigation system and off you go. There are plenty of parking spaces available, but you might have to search for them for a few minutes, so plan an extra 10 minutes. During the week, you have to get a parking ticket, and parking is free on weekends.
