About this Tour

In this entry-level course, you will learn how to stand up paddle from the ground up on quiet Elz — including technology, safety and driving style. After a short introduction on the shore, it's straight out onto the water for a guided tour through the idyllic border region between the Black Forest and the Vosges Mountains. Free of motor boats, the Elz offers the perfect environment for a safe and relaxing paddling experience in the midst of pristine nature. All equipment is included — all you need is your swimwear and good mood!
Steps of the tour
- Welcome and brief theoretical briefing on the shore
- Getting to know basic stand-up paddle techniques and safety rules
- Practicing together on the water with a guide
- Guided SUP tour on the Elz (approx. 2.5 hours, downstream)
- Return to the starting point by the organizer
- Total duration approx. 3 hours
