Make your own matcha bowl.
Design your personal matcha bowl (hand-built, without a turntable) out of white or speckled clay. After the workshop, we provide glazing & firing services so that your bowl is ready for collection after 4-5 weeks (or shipping at an additional cost).

Discover the world of matcha. Enjoy a delicious strawberry matcha as a welcome drink. In addition, we will have a matcha tasting and prepare a ceremonial grade matcha from Düsseldorf's Japan Quarter — a real highlight.

What you’ll do in the class
1 ️ Welcome Drink: Matcha Strawberry — We start off relaxed with a freshly prepared matcha strawberry
2 ️ The potter your matcha bowl — With the guidance of Lara, you can make your own matcha bowl step by step using hand assembly (without a turntable).
3 ️ strup Matcha Tasting — We are doing a matcha tasting with Ceremonial Grade Matcha from Düsseldorf's Japan Quarter.
4 ️ strup Conclusion & outlook — Your matcha bowl stays in the studio to dry. We provide glazing & firing services for you. After approx. 4-5 weeks, your finished matcha bowl is ready for collection (or shipping at an additional cost).
