Experience a special afternoon at Studio Calma Düsseldorf: In the tufting workshop, you will design your individual work of art with your desired motif under professional guidance. Then make an individual ceramic piece of your choice, such as a cup or a small bowl.
Tufting with Dave
Discover the creative trend of tufting in the heart of Düsseldorf. In the workshop with Dave, you will learn how to design your own fluffy rug with a tufting gun and high-quality wool — in a handy format of 20 x 20 cm. This compact piece of art is perfect as a stylish wall decoration or as a unique trivet. You decide what you want your rug to look like: choose up to five colors, create your own design or get inspired locally.
Pottery with Sabrina — Your ceramic unicate is created
In the second part, you will make one or two individual pieces of ceramic together with Sabrina. With simple hand-building techniques, without a turntable, your personal unique piece is created, which is glazed and fired in your desired color after the workshop. After five to six weeks, you can pick up your unique ceramic item or it will be sent to you.

What you’ll do in the class
Dave shows you step by step how to tuft a Mediterranean trivet or mini rug measuring 20 × 20 cm. Whether juicy lemons, oranges or other motifs — your work will be fluffy and individual. Perfect as a trivet, wall decoration or small gift
Then it's time for the sound: Together with Sabrina, you make one or two unique ceramic pieces — for example a cup or bowl. With simple techniques, you can create a truly unique piece under guidance, which is then glazed and fired. After five to six weeks, you can pick up your finished item or it will be shipped to you.
