About this class
Let yourself be surprised during “GlassWandeln”
This time we are traveling together with the museum director to the Hammelburg museum “Herrenmühle”.
With a wine glass in hand, we stroll through the museum in gloomy lighting and taste sparkling wine, white wine, rose wine and red wine at 4 stops.
Each wine is tasted in 3 different glasses. At the stations in the museum, we will taste a total of 12 variations!
The trained winemaker, Ulrike, moderates the wine tasting and tells you many details about organic wine and its production.
Hammelburg, the oldest wine town in Franconia, has a 1250-year-old wine-growing tradition. How did winemakers work in the past, how and above all how much did our ancestors drink? You can find out this and much more from Elli Böck, head of the museum.
Four high-quality wines in black crystal glasses are blindly tasted and the certified winemaker Ulrike discusses the differences in taste.
On request, there is also a non-alcoholic version of our Blind Wine Date - you must state this here when ordering tickets!
