Class description

In this photo course, you will learn how to take pictures in different lighting conditions, from sunset to blue hour to blackness of night.

The course schedule:

  • Our outdoor tour starts right at the historic Prinzipalmarkt, which we will experience in bright light for now.
  • When the weather is clear, the now low sun allows us to work with the distinctive shadows; if the sky is overcast, twilight will soon begin.
  • With a focus on light, we explore the area surrounding the cathedral and the architecture of the State Museum before heading along the Aa to the shores of Lake Aa.
  • Here we usually experience a spectacular evening sky with interesting reflections and various options for designing the foreground.
  • During the most intense blue hour with its mixed lighting situation, the marina with its boats and lights looks particularly picturesque.
  • Here we experiment with light painting later at the onset of total darkness, and with almost the same settings, we catch light trails from cars and bicycles on the way back.
  • Depending on the season, an atmospheric lighting atmosphere awaits us at Prinzipalmarkt.
Note: In rainy weather, we stay in the city center.
