About this class
How does photography work completely without digital technology? In this creative workshop in Leipzig, you'll find out — and build your own analog pinhole camera. Without any previous knowledge, but with curiosity, patience and a desire to work, you will create a functioning camera step by step, which is equipped with film and allows you to take up to 32 analog images. In doing so, you will learn the basic principles of photography: from light and exposure time to how to deal with subject selection and composition.
Evelin accompanies you through the entire process, explains the theoretical basics in an understandable way and inspires with examples of creative image ideas. This workshop allows you to experience the camera as an object and gives you a completely new look at photography — far away from technology and perfection, but full of experimentation and surprise.
