About this class
What can you expect at Collage/Mixed Media in Leipzig?
The medium of collage enables us to work with collected materials and put them together anew in the image. Old photos, postcards, letters, drawings, scraps of fabric or fragments that remind you of places or events are used in your pictures. You let yourself flow creatively and learn to put your impressions, ideas and memories on paper using techniques such as frottage, paper cutting, drawing, painting, stencil techniques or image transfer. You will receive support during the artistic process. This gives you easy access to creating formal language, composition and tensions — be surprised by your work of art and discover the immensely relaxing slowing effect of creative design.
