About this Tour
Experience Munich's creative side on this special watercolor city tour. Together with Philipp, an experienced architect and official guide, you will explore the lively slaughterhouse district and railroad guard Thiel. The special thing: You capture your impressions artistically directly on postcards. Thanks to pre-printed motifs, you can create impressive works of art from architectural highlights such as Alte Utting, even without previous knowledge. An interactive experience in the south of Munich that perfectly combines urban culture and painting and gives you individual souvenirs.
Steps of the tour
Meeting point: We start at the innovative Piazza Zenetti in the slaughterhouse district.
Architecture Walk: Philipp shows you the new Volkstheater and explains the transformation of the district.
Inspiration stops: We visit Alte Utting and the colorful Beginner's Wall.
Creative workshop: You paint four highlights of the route with watercolors on high-quality postcards.
Location highlight: During the cold season, we use a heated shipping container at Bahnwärter Thiel as a studio.
Conclusion: The tour ends at Bahnwärter Thiel after a short subway ride (4€ not included).
