City tours + art workshops in Munich

I am Philipp — official city guide in Munich, trained architect and founder of Philipp's Munich Tours. My mission is to make Munich a creative, authentic and surprising experience — far away from classic tourist trails.

My passion for art, architecture and urban culture began during my school years with a focus on art. After studying architecture in Germany and Chile and working in Amsterdam, among others, I worked as an architect for over 15 years. In 2024, I decided to follow my passion and found my own tour company.

Today, I combine architectural expertise with enthusiasm for street art, history and design — and show Munich from a perspective you won't experience in this way.

Location

The central location of my experiences is the creative heart of Munich: Bahnwärter Thiel.

The creative quarter with over 40 converted containers is one of the most exciting places for urban art and alternative culture. Street art, architecture and creative experiments come together here — a place full of energy.

The workshops take place in a heated art studio — a converted shipping container on the site. This creates an authentic, creative atmosphere that can be used all year round.

Group sizes are flexible — from small private groups to larger team events.

The creative highlight:
In the workshop, you create your own works of art using professional stencils and spray six Munich postcards — ideal as a personal souvenir or gift.

The workshop takes place in the heated container studio and is therefore a comfortable experience even in winter.
