With the construction of the building in 1896, “Tauberts Gastwirtschaft” attracted the first customers here. This was later followed by the famous restaurant “Zur Molle”, now already run by the Zeidler family. The lovingly renovated house was opened as a hotel at the beginning of the 20th century and was awarded a 3-star superior in 2013 under the name “Hotel RIZZ City”. The large hotel chain “Rizz Carlton” found this classification and similarity of the name very threatening - which made it necessary to change the name to the hotel “Via City”.

In order to make the stay of hotel guests even more pleasant, we decided to open “Via Bar” in 2018. This not only embodies the interplay of “old meets new” — it is also reflected with its story in the various cocktails, which are brought back to life with their original origin and original recipes.
