Pottery wheel taster course in Vienna

Töpferei Wien is a place for creativity, crafts and decelerated work with clay. The idea behind the studio is to give people access to the traditional craft of pottery and at the same time create a space in which you can relax, experiment and create something with your own hands. The passion for ceramics developed from a fascination for working with natural materials — from the moment when a unique work of art is created from a shapeless piece of clay.

Our location is a bright, cozy studio in Vienna, which was specially equipped for creative work. It is equipped with several pottery wheels, workplaces for manual assembly, and firing and glazing facilities. Depending on the course format, small group courses take place here — the studio offers space for around 10 to 20 people, so that personal and individual support is possible at any time.

Our courses and workshops are particularly characterized by their relaxed atmosphere and practical approach. From the first steps on the turntable to the finished ceramic piece, we will guide you step by step. The focus is not on perfection, but on the experience, experimentation and creative work with sound.

In addition to open courses, we also offer private events and team events. These are ideal for groups who want to experience something new together — whether as a team event, birthday party, rumble or a special meeting with friends. Working with sound connects, creates shared experiences and creates real memories away from everyday life. Each group creates their own creative experience in a personal and informal atmosphere.
