The workshop was great and I can only recommend it. Danny is very likeable, helps when you don't know exactly what to do, but also gives you creative freedom.

The 3 hours flew by. It was so much fun. Danny is very personable and very helpful (thanks again for the skull). What I liked the most was that after a short explanation, you could immediately get started and try it out yourself. I definitely recommend the course.

If you are in the mood for colors and creativity, this is the right place for you. I particularly liked the fact that you had time to develop your design — even though I was a bit undecided at first, it turned into a great creative process. Thanks to Danny's friendly, helpful, easy-going nature and his technical support (thanks again for plotting my favorite file 🐨!) It was an all-round successful experience. Each picture in the group was unique in the end. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try something new!

We took the course as a couple today and are absolutely thrilled. In our group, apart from us, all other participants had canceled and Danny did not hesitate to have the workshop take place as a “personal event”. We found that very appreciative and great!
As an absolute newcomer to art, Danny gave us a quick overview of possible techniques. After that, we started the practice straight away. There are many different templates available so that everyone will find what they are looking for. We found our way around easily and were able to contact Danny with any questions.

That was great! The course instructor is pleasantly relaxed and lets people discover what's in them. I was surprised how difficult it is at first to let go without fear and to follow the fun of colors and shapes instead of trying to keep control. I had already done that once, it was also my comfort zone, but back then I was still a child and then life happened. But because the technology was quickly and well explained, it was now a lot of exciting time to take up this feeling from back then and even get a surprisingly beautiful result. Danny Frede does it wonderfully.
By the way: His own work, the “analog pixels”, is absolutely worth seeing in the original.

The course instructor was very nice and explained the course procedure and the various techniques to us in an understandable way at the beginning. After that, we were able to get started ourselves.
The materials were more than enough — lots of spray cans and a wide range of colors. I never had to wait for a color once.
The templates were clearly sorted into categories so that you could quickly find the right one. Drinks could also be purchased conveniently on site. The three hours flew by!
I can 100% recommend the street art graffiti course and will definitely be back.

Get to know Studio DONKSY DÄNKSY
Studio Donksy Dänksy is a creative space in Cologne for urban art and contemporary forms of expression. The studio creates works in the fields of painting, graffiti, printing and photography. At the same time, the name stands for creative courses, workshops and joint projects with participants with no or previous experience. The focus is on practical work and independent design. The studio is not about theory or pressure to perform, but about direct access to art. The courses are structured in such a way that all participants can work in practice right from the start and develop their own work. The aim is a comprehensible creative process and an independent result that can be understood and classified.
The person behind the studio is artist Danny Frede. He has been working artistically for over 20 years and full-time in his own studio in Cologne for around 10 years. His experience in fine art and applied techniques flows into the studio's work as well as into the courses and workshops.
The location is located in an almost 100-year-old brick hall on Steinstraße in Cologne-Porz. The room has three-meter high windows, plenty of natural light and an open, industrial atmosphere. It can accommodate up to 20 participants and is fully equipped for creative work.
Courses, team events and private events Studio Donksy Dänksy offers courses for individuals as well as formats for private groups and corporate events. The participants work together, results are immediately visible and each person takes their own work with them. Working together promotes exchange and cooperation. Individual arrangements for drinks, equipment, decoration or exclusive appointments are possible.
