Since I lived in Ireland in 2005, I have fallen for Celtic culture. In 2014, I finally lost my heart to Scotland and its whiskey. Many extensive road trips and distillery visits finally took me to the Glendronach Distillery. In 2016, I signed up there as a tour guide and got to know the whiskey world “from within.”

Back in Germany, I continued to expand Malt Mariners as a whisky tasting business and began working as an online editor for German whisky shops.

My love and passion for liquid gold remains unwavering and my travels have already taken me to 12 countries and over 100 whiskey distilleries. There I not only pick up new knowledge, but also entertaining anecdotes and, of course, one or the other special whiskey. I am happy to share all this with you in my tastings.
