Behind this small but fine shop is Volker Mehl, Spiegel bestselling author, 18-time book author and two-time winner of the World Cookbook Awards. With “comme ci, comme ça”, he has fulfilled a dream: a shop that exclusively houses cookbooks curated by him personally.
Our idea
We don't just want to sell books — we want to inspire! The selected titles are as diverse as the world's cuisines and invite you to try out new recipes, rediscover well-known classics and experience the love of cooking in a very special way.
But that's not all:
“comme ci, comme ça” stands for more than just books. With regular workshops, events and theme evenings about enjoyment, cuisine and creativity, our bookstore becomes a meeting place for connoisseurs and amateur chefs.
