Who we are and what drives us

We are Capoeira Freiburg — a school where people have been experiencing movement, music and community for many years. For us, capoeira is more than just a martial art: it shows how strong groups become when diversity, creativity and mutual support come together.

Our mission is to make this experience accessible to teams, groups of friends, and individuals. We want to create a space in which people rediscover their strengths, grow together and experience something that rarely happens in everyday life: a mix of energy, lightness and genuine connection.

Our location — your space for meetings

Our location in Freiburg is a bright exercise room with plenty of space, pleasantly springy floors and a warm, open atmosphere. Up to 30 people can easily participate here.

Music equipment, capoeira instruments and sufficient free space ensure that movement, rhythm and group dynamics come into their own.
On request, we can of course also come to you on a mobile device — fully equipped.

Capoeira courses & events — What makes them so special

Our events start with a brief insight into the origins of Capoeira — as a short journey into a time when community, creativity and courage were decisive. This introduction immediately opens up a new perspective: What strengthened people back then can also support teams and groups today.

This is followed by a natural, uncomplicated transition into practice: various dance elements, easy movements, small playful dynamics, first rhythm impulses. No one has to be able to do anything here — everyone starts together. This creates a pleasant feeling of closeness and lightness right from the start.

In the further course, we combine movement, music and group experience into a format that simultaneously releases energy and offers new impulses for everyday life. Many participants are surprised at how much joy there is — and how quickly individual strengths and group dynamics become apparent.

As team events & private events — for groups of all types

We offer our formats for companies, teams, private groups and open events. Whether as a team day, a trip for friends, a bachelor party or an experience with completely new people: Capoeira creates a framework in which connection becomes a matter of course.

Our events work because they enable real encounters — without artificial exercises, without roles, without pressure. Movement, rhythm and a shared flow create moments in which groups grow together, inhibitions fall and new energy is created.

This makes your event a special experience that lingers on for a long time to come: lively, empowering and surprisingly inspiring.
