About this class
In this workshop, you will dive into the world of squeegee technology and transform an extra large empty 100 x 140 cm canvas into a vibrant game of color, structure and emotion. You will learn how to build up vivid layers of paint with targeted squeegee movements, create surprising effects and consciously integrate your intuition into the creative process.
Together, we experiment with color selection, layering and dynamics, so that spontaneously created shapes step by step become a coherent overall picture. You don't need any previous knowledge — through simple instructions and playful experimentation, you'll find your own expression and experience how liberating abstract painting can be. In the end, you take home at least one piece of art of your own, which bears your personal signature and makes the power of squeegee technology visible.
What you’ll do in the class
In this workshop, the first step is: Arrive and switch off — you dive into the world of colors and leave everyday life outside the door.
After a short introduction to squeegee technology, you will receive individual instructions so that you can implement your own ideas step by step.
The course is practice-oriented: just as much theory as necessary, but plenty of room to try out, experiment and design.
A maximum of 4 participants work at the same time, ensuring personal attention and sufficient time for questions, feedback and support.
The atmosphere in the studio is deliberately calm and inspiring so that you can concentrate fully on your artistic journey.
Please arrive a maximum of 10 minutes before the course starts so that there is enough time to arrive and the workshop can start on time.
Arriving later shortens your personal course time by the length of the delay.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is aimed at anyone who is curious about new painting techniques and wants to discover abstract art using the squeegee technique.
Individual participants or a small group of up to 4 people as well as families (up to 4 people) with participants aged 16 and over are welcome.
You don't need any previous knowledge — beginners are just as welcome as advanced learners who want to expand their artistic practice.
The only important thing is the joy of experimenting, openness to chance and the desire to find your own expression on canvas.
