About this class
In this 3-hour course, you will learn the basics of watercolor painting step by step. You'll learn the most important basic techniques and I'll show you how to create floral elements in a loose watercolor style. Together we practice using brushes, paint and water and create an individual floral motif for your home!
My goal is that even beginners achieve great results with simple and effective exercises and that every exercise sheet is used instead of ending up in the trash.
What you’ll do in the class
You come to my studio and we toast our time together with a glass of sparkling wine.
We start with the basics: learn about paints, brushes and the various watercolor techniques in exercises.
We then practice various loose florals style flowers. This is not about realistically depicting flowers, but we retain the freedom to interpret the flowers as we please.
After the exercise, we combine flowers with the leaves and berries to form a flower wreath or bouquet. I will give you tips on how to structure the motif and show you how to add a 3D effect to your work of art with a simple trick.
After the workshop, you can enjoy your hand-painted watercolor motif with loose flowers.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is aimed at beginners and advanced students who want to get creative in a cozy atmosphere and spend a relaxing break. No previous experience is required.
