About this Tour
Truth or lie? - The city tour with the X factor
We're completely lying to you — but don't worry, in the end we'll tell you everything that was grumbling about. On this special city tour through Bremen's old town, you'll listen to interesting and entertaining stories about the city's past and present. But be careful! Your ingenuity is required: In between, you will be told a few lies without scruples, which you should unmask.
Steps of the tour
Strange, unbelievable and lots of guessing fun
At the beginning of this tour, you will receive a sheet of paper with the titles of various stories that will be told during the tour and the corresponding checkboxes “true” or “false.” If a story is shared, it will be announced in advance by the tour guide. At the end of the tour, you will get the answer as to which stories actually correspond to the truth and which are stinky and lied. You will certainly be amazed at one point or another as to which stories turn out to be true and which are fictitious...
If you also like to puzzle and advise, then this tour is just the right thing for you! Look forward to exciting stories and secrets! There are a total of 15 special stories to share. We will provide you with pens during the tour.
Highlights of Bremen's old town
During the guided tour, you will explore the market square, which is also known as the “good room of Bremen”, with the historic town hall from the late Middle Ages (from outside) and the Bremen Roland. On Böttcherstraße, you can find out what coffee and art have in common in Bremen, and in the rustic Schnoor district, you will discover tiny houses in winding alleys, among other things. In this way, this guided tour offers a unique combination of the most important sights, information about the city's history and interactive guessing fun.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The exact meeting point is in front of the main entrance to St. Peter's Cathedral on the stairs (on the side where the two church towers are)
