Discover the colorful world of tufting at a creative workshop in Frankfurt! With a tufting gun, wool and your own custom design, YOU create your very own rug in A3+ format. From theory to the final touches, YOU will get exciting insights into textile crafts.

What you’ll do in the class

Dive into the fascinating world of tufting and experience:

Magic carpet theory
Tufting gun structure and variants
Motivation and style discovery
Steps in tufting and wool gauge
Stringing the tufting frame with drum test
Apply your subject with permanent marker
Creative design of your own rug, line by line
Tips and tricks for tufting and finishing with carpet razors and duckbill scissors
Fixing the frame for a perfect result
A lovingly designed “Tufting Happy Ending To Go” set with instructions for the dry season of your rug
After 2 weeks, you can pick up your finished rug from the studio yourself, or choose to have it shipped to your home (plus shipping costs)

At the end, you will receive a tufting artist certificate with your own creative rug in A3+ format.
