What can you expect in our mini tufting workshop? A compact, creative break full of colors, shapes and textile freedom!
Dive into the inspiring world of tufting — without any previous knowledge. You decide which motif comes to life under your tufting gun.
This mini version creates a hand-sized piece of tufted, which you can then process according to your wishes: into a stylish mobile phone case, a glass trivet, a small tapestry. Just let your imagination run wild.

- Your favorite motif, whether in your mobile phone as a picture, drawing or even without anything, if you still need an idea

What you’ll do in the class
- We will explain to you the materials and how the tufting gun works.
- You will get to know different variants of tufting guns.
- Discover your own style and choose a design for your rug.
- If you don't have an idea yet, use a pre-drawn motif.
- You will learn more about different types of wool and how to best use them with the tufting gun.
- Stretch your canvas carefully so that your rug is clean.
- With the drum test, you can check the correct tension.
- Use a motif you have brought along or draw intuitively.
- Each participant receives a permanent marker for their own creation.
On the carpet, ready, go:
- Tuft colorful wool into the tufted cloth and see how your own rug is created line by line.
Tips and tricks when tufting:
- You will learn about typical tufting challenges and avoid them directly.
- We'll also show you practical tufting tricks.
At the end, you will receive a certificate as a mini tufting artist.
After 2 to 5 weeks, you can pick up your finished rug from the studio or have it sent to your home.
You are welcome to bring drinks and food with you.
Who is the class suitable for?
- Accompanied children aged 4 and over (The children draw the motif on the tufted cloth alone or with the help of an adult. The tufting gun is then held and controlled together during tufting)
- Alone from 10 years
- Age has no limits
