About this class
Would you like to create something with your own hands that not only looks beautiful but is also full of personality? Then this pottery workshop in Wiesbaden and the surrounding area is just the thing for you. We work with so-called construction technology — that means: completely without a potter's wheel. You shape your pieces freely by hand, layer by layer, step by step. This is how cups, bowls, vases or small sculptures are created — each piece is unique.
Two finished workpieces are included in the price — they are fired and glazed so that you can pick them up later or have them sent to you. Other pieces can also be fired and glazed at an additional cost of 10 euros each.
What you’ll do in the class
You'll learn various freehand construction techniques — step by step, we'll show you how to create great shapes with simple means.
During the workshop, you will make several objects out of clay — for example cups, small bowls, plates, decorative bowls or anything else that comes to mind.
You will be personally accompanied throughout the entire time and receive creative tips so that you feel comfortable and implement your ideas in a relaxed manner.
On site, you choose a glaze — your favorite pieces are lovingly fired and glazed.
After about 4 to 6 weeks, you pick up your work — or you can have it conveniently sent to your home for a shipping fee of 12 euros.
A relaxed, creative atmosphere awaits you in small groups — with time to exchange, create and enjoy. Drinks and small snacks are provided.
