About this class

Would you like to create something with your own hands that not only looks beautiful but is also full of personality? Then this pottery workshop in Wiesbaden and the surrounding area is just the thing for you. We work with so-called construction technology — that means: completely without a potter's wheel. You shape your pieces freely by hand, layer by layer, step by step. This is how cups, bowls, vases or small sculptures are created — each piece is unique.

Since I don't have a permanent studio, I come directly to you with all the materials and tools — whether in the living room, the common room or the garden. You don't have to worry about anything, just space and the desire to be creative.

A finished piece is included in the price — I will burn and glaze it for you so that you can pick it up later or send it to you by post. If you make more pieces, they can also be fired and glazed for an additional 10€ each.

What you’ll do in the class

You'll learn various freehand construction techniques — I'll show you step by step how you can create great shapes with simple means.

During the workshop, you can make several objects out of clay — for example cups, small bowls, plates, decorative bowls, or anything else that comes to mind.

I will accompany you the entire time with personal guidance and creative tips so that you feel comfortable and can implement your ideas in a completely relaxed way.

You choose a glaze on site — I'll pick up your favorite pieces, burn and glaze them lovingly for you.

After about 3 weeks, you can pick up your work from me — or you can have it conveniently sent to your home for a shipping fee of 8€.

A relaxed, creative atmosphere awaits you in small groups — with time to exchange, create and enjoy. Drinks and small snacks are provided!
