Pottery course in Cologne: Make your own floral tableware

About this class
Would you like to make your own pottery? Do you love herbs and flowers? Then this course is just the right thing for you.
We make 2 large dinner plates and 2 breakfast plates using platter technology. Feel free to decorate them with herb stems or other flowers.
During the drying time, do you still have the opportunity to make suitable cups, or would you rather tie a small wreath of herbs?
You can work individually with my instructions.
What you’ll do in the class
Please be there about a quarter of an hour before the course starts so that we can start on time.
You have the option to choose between 2 types of clay.
After a short introduction, we will prepare the clay, then you can get started and prepare the plates. Decorate them with fresh herbs or dried flowers if you want. The plates must dry so that they can be further processed, now you can decide whether you would like to create suitable cups or a small flower wreath.
After about 3 hours, we're done so far. Now the pieces have to dry for about 2 weeks, then they are scrubbed, then I glaze your plates with your desired color so that you can pick up your new crockery after about 4 weeks. The dishes are of course waterproof, food safe and can also be put in the dishwasher (which I always advise against).
