COURSE
Life can be really exhausting sometimes, and we forget to do something good for ourselves. In this course, you can forget your thoughts from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy creative time. There are snacks, drinks, and relaxing background music in a cozy atmosphere. COURSE Come to a relaxing hand building class and learn a new craft. We will show and explain all 3 techniques to you in a demonstration, then you will have enough time to try it yourself with our help and guidance. You'll have enough time to empathize and be creative. Everyone at their own pace! At the end of the course, there is a selection of different glazes (colors), which you can choose from. We will then lovingly take care of your pieces. They are fired by us (1st fire - scrub fire), glazed and fired again (2nd fire - glaze fire).
COSTS
Since it is difficult to calculate the number of pieces when assembling by hand, we will check on site how much material you have used. Depending on the size, there may be additional costs (5-10 €/piece).
PICK UP/PICK UP
We will inform you by email when they are ready for collection (approx. 5-7 weeks) or we will send them to you by post (shipping costs are exclusive). You are welcome to pick them up on our pick up days. We ask you to pick up your items within two months. If you are unable to do so, feel free to send a friend your name.
We are very excited to get to know you and show you the beautiful and sometimes frustrating world of pottery.
What you’ll do in the class
- You'll get an introduction to the world of pottery. After the introduction, it is time to start making freehand pottery and feel the meditative effect of clay.
- You will learn various techniques of pottery: the thumb press technique, the beading technique and the plate technique.
- You can model various things out of clay, depending on your idea — such as a mug, a bowl, a vase, soap dishes — there are so many beautiful ways to make pottery by hand.
- You will make 3-4 models - everyone will model the clay at their own pace!
- I make sure there's enough time to help everyone make pottery and answer questions.
- I then take care of your pottery pieces - I will burn and glaze them with the color of your choice. If you like, you can also book an additional pottery glazing course. Feel free to let me know during the pottery course in Berlin.
- Your containers will be ready for collection in 5-6 weeks. I will inform you by email as soon as your pottery is ready for collection or shipping (plus shipping fees).

Learning to make pottery has something calming about it and relieves you of all your everyday stress. You also don't need any special previous experience. We'll show you everything you need to make pottery step by step. Of course, you can also take part in the pottery course in Berlin with previous experience and spend a creative and relaxing time together.
