Pottery Workshop Berlin: 2 days - learn the wheel

WORKSHOP 
You are interested to learn a new skill and do create some forever pieces in your home? This workshop is the best to get the full experience how a handmade ceramic is made :)

The pottery workshop at the wheel takes place over one weekend. This is the schedule: 

- In small group of 4, you will have plenty of time to devote yourself entirely to throw on the potter's wheel
- At the first appointment you will be demonstrated every step of the process: You'll learn how to center clay on the wheel, make walls, and ultimately give shape to your piece
- Then it's time to get started: under supervision, you will do your own pieces on the wheel - e.g. bowls, cups, mugs.
Each student will work at their own pace on their own wheel. You will have time to create about four to six pieces.
- On the second date your fresh made pieces will be trimmed so your creations will get beautiful decorations, a footing or a handle.

For whom is the pottery course in Berlin suitable? 
This pottery workshop in Berlin is suitable for anyone who wants to spend a relaxed and creative time. Learning to make pottery is also suitable for anyone who wants to escape the stress of everyday life, because there is something calming about pottery and create something with your hands. The pottery course is suitable for beginners or people who want expand their knowledge, you do not need any previous experience. You will learn how to make pottery on the wheel step by step under professional guidance. Of course, you can also participate in the pottery course in Berlin with experience.

What is included in the pottery course? 
You create about four to six pieces. After the second appointment, your pieces will be fired twice by me and glazed in the color of your choice. After 3 to 4 weeks your ceramics are ready to be picked up. You will then be notified by email and can pick up your creations and take them home. If you like, we can also ship your pottery results to your home (plus shipping).

Teacher 
The workshop will be done by our lovely teacher Uliana from DANKERAMIK. She's a sunshine in a human form and will guide you with care through every step. You will surely have a good time :)
