Introduction to Japanese cuisine: Basics of dashi broth, ponzu, kombu, soy sauce, etc.
Preparation and seasoning of Japanese rice: Learn how to cook and season the perfect sushi rice — the basis for every successful sushi.
Maki rolls: Create classic maki with fillings like tuna, salmon, pickled radish, cucumber, and avocado.
California Rolls — inside-out and outside rolls: Master the inside-out roll technique with ingredients such as surimi, shrimp, avocado and cream cheese.
Nigiri: Form traditional nigiri with fresh tuna and salmon.
Sauces and Dips: Makes various sauces and dips, including yuzu ponzu dip, spicy jalapeño mayonnaise, and truffle miso dip.
Cutting techniques and presentation: Learn the right cutting techniques and how to present your sushi creations in an appealing way.
