About this class
Release your inner Taylor Swift! In this workshop, you will learn the basics and hone your improv singing skills. You'll learn how to perform a song from every situation, every topic and every scene that deserves a single release. In addition to improvised catchy choruses, you'll learn to create verses and backing vocals out of thin air. You are also working on your stage performance away from lyrics and voice. But above all: Do you sing a lot. We feel our way out of our comfort zone step by step, because the workshop focuses on one thing in particular: discovering and having fun with improv singing!
What you’ll do in the class
The workshop is spread over an inspiring day of 6 hours, during which you dive into the world of improv singing. After a warm welcome and a short introduction, we start with warm-up exercises to get our voices and creative ideas going. In the first part of the workshop, you will learn how to create songs spontaneously from various situations. After a 1.5-hour lunch break, during which you can recharge your batteries, you will continue with exercises on verses and backing vocals. You'll sing a lot and have lots of fun doing it!
