In a stylish atmosphere, we invite you to a delightful evening around the traditional drink rum. Together with our regional Edelbrand sommelier, we taste a carefully selected range of high-quality rums — from light, fruity varieties to mature, complex wines from all over the world.
You'll learn exciting things about the history, production and maturation of rum as well as the differences between Rhum Agricole, Molasses Rum and Navy Strength. We will also give you practical tips for tasting and combining — whether pure, in a tasting glass or with a suitable accompaniment.
Our kitchen also serves small snacks that perfectly complement the aromas of the fine wines.

What you’ll do in the class
This is how the course works:
After a warm welcome, we start with an introduction to the world of rum — from history to production to the aromatic diversity of the various styles. Together with our Edelbrand sommelier, we taste several selected rums, accompanied by exciting background information and sensory impressions.
In between, we serve a coordinated 3-course menu from our kitchen, which perfectly complements the aromas of the fine wines.
Finally, there will be time for questions, exchange ideas and a relaxed end to an enjoyable evening.
