About this class
Be inspired by your designs and work with us to carve large-format stamps (up to A5). You will learn how to make your own silicone rubber stamp with classic linocut tools and scalpel and what to consider when doing so. With your stamp, you can print on paper, fabrics and much more. We talk about tools, materials, mix fresh colors and print our unique pieces on high-quality paper — all in a relaxed atmosphere and with inspiring exchanges.
What you’ll do in the class
Each participant brings their design to the workshop. I give an introduction to the carving technique and, depending on the motif, advise what remains standing and where to carve. Then everyone happily carves on their first stamp and we print the first prints together with linoleum ink. I will provide you with color combinations and mixing tips, as well as a list of materials and links.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for beginners and even children from primary school age
Details to remember

Illustratorin Nina Heinke
Even as a child, drawing was my passion. After graduating from the Berlin Technical Academy of Arts, I drew for the Morning Post and the Tip, and then my first children's book projects were added.
